Junior Graphic Design Intern

For this project, I was assigned to help retouch their Binge-Watching Habits Infographics for Tuck’s website. I was asked to highlight Wisconsin to the map and add it to the list of ‘Least likely to stream content from bed’.

I used two software programs which were Adobe Illustrator to illustrate the Wisconsin map and brought the map to Adobe Photoshop to finish the rest of the list.

The purpose of this infographics was to show binge-watching habits by region shown and highlighted.

I was assigned to create a balanced composition using their illustration assets of the blobs, patterns, sleepers, clouds, moon etc to put on their ‘About us’ graphics page.

Tuck recently recreated and redesigned their website and I was

able to help them out with the layout of the graphics and one of them was this project specifically. It took quite a bit of time to actually get the 3 or 4 element assets to the right placement and balance. I had to do 10 of each of these graphic composition to get at least one of them approved.

I used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for this project and I also

did a mockup for this website.

For this project, I was assigned to edit the team photos individually and as well as their edit their group photos. I was asked to reduce the shine on their faces and make the photos look less washed out. I had to even out the skin tone and make sure that everything looks clean and professional when viewing on the website.

I used Adobe Photoshop to edit the photos. (Photos were taken by a freelance photographer).

Designed Youtube Thumbnail Covers

I was assigned to create and design Tuck’s Youtube Thumbnail covers. They are usually mattress reviews and pillow reviews. I was using their brand guideline kit to have a consistent look and feel of their brand. These are some of the projects I really enjoyed doing because its nice to see it live and up online.

I used Adobe Photoshop to do these youtube thumbnail covers. After it’s been critiqued and approved by my supervisor, I would save them into their shared google drive and as well as uploading the png photo onto the app, Airtable which is a platform that everyone in the team uses for collaboration and to access contents for a specific Youtube review.

Tuck Sleep Coupon Sales Page

Tuck Sleep gave me an opportunity to re-design their Sales Page on their site. For this project, I worked with the UI Lead Designer. The goal of this project is to focus on human-centered design where they want to maintain a  fluid and smooth user experience across their site. As mentioned, Tuck Sleep had redesigned their brand. And I was able to help recreate and redesign their Sales page for both mobile and desktop versions.

For this project, I did some research, sketching, wire-frames, both low & high fidelity prototypes and design-specs for this Project. Not only was I working with the lead designer, I was also working with the Product Manager and the Dev team. It was a definitely a fun and learning experience for me.
